Ergotech is being a committed company by promoting values that represent the heart of our activity and our convictions:

Promoting French Manufacturing

Promoting the French economy, employment, and expertise

Protecting Your Data

Ensuring the compliance of our processes and tools to protect your personal information

Acting for the Planet

Implementing actions to reduce our carbon footprint and our impact on the planet

Improving Work Conditions

And taking action to support the retention and reintegration into the job market of people with disabilities.

Promote In-House Manufacturing

Since the company was founded in 2012, all Ergotech brand products have been manufactured in our own workshop in France. We do not use any subcontractors in order to maintain full control over production and the quality of our products, as well as to ensure maximum responsiveness by minimizing intermediaries.

By choosing our products, you choose items produced under decent working conditions by people protected by labor laws and strict standards.

In addition to the entire manufacturing process being carried in-house, we use French or European materials, with a preference for neighboring countries.

Protect Your Personal Information

The protection of your personal information should be a top priority for all companies — especially in the healthcare sector.

Ergotech has chosen to work with a DPO (Data Protection Officer) consultant to ensure that our tools and processes fully comply with the principles of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). Our teams are also trained to uphold this compliance and to protect themselves against hacking attempts.

Act for the Planet

As a manufacturer, we work with a wide range of materials and inevitably generate various types of waste. We are constantly seeking solutions and refining our manufacturing processes to reduce this waste and give it new value. Here are a few initiatives we’ve implemented in recent years:

  • We introduced a new industrial tool for manufacturing our high-viscosity fluid pouches, which are integrated into nearly all our products. This allowed us to completely eliminate the use of water during the production of these pouches, while also significantly reducing physical strain at the workstation.

  • Foam wastes are systematically set aside, and we dedicate half a day each month to sorting and processing them individually to reuse as much material as possible.

  • We share our production workshop with our second business activity — a workshop specializing in the making of traditional French striped shirts. Fabric wastes from this production are repurposed to make shipping bags for our Ergotech products. As a result, we have almost entirely eliminated the use of cardboard boxes in our shipments.

  • For waste we cannot reuse or repurpose internally, we have established a partnership with Tri'N'Collect, a local waste collection company located less than 1 km from our facility. Tri'N'Collect collects and recycles our waste through local recovery channels.

  • Solar panels installed on the roof of our building provide full energy autonomy for both of our activities.

Thanks to these initiatives combined with local manufacturing using European materials and partnerships with transport providers committed to reducing their carbon footprint, our products achieve strong eco-design scores. On average our chairs score 93%, based on Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) calculations, and our other products score 79.5%. Eco-design reports are available for viewing and download on each product page of our website (currently under development).

Understand environmental challenges

We also carry out awareness and training initiatives for our teams, such as a Climate Fresk workshop held in 2024.

Improve Work Conditions

We aim to offer tailored solutions that protect and enhance people’s health and well-being. Over the years, we’ve built a product catalog of more than 200 solutions. Whether for prevention, pain relief, or disability support, our solutions are designed for both individuals and professionals, across all sectors.

To deliver effective and relevant solutions, innovation is a key part of our workflow. Our products are in constant evolution, with new solutions regularly launched to meet the changing needs of our clients. Our goal is to offer the most comprehensive and high-quality range possible, so that everyone can find their ideal Ergotech solution.

Because we know that every person and every situation is unique, we offer the option to customize all our products through our custom-solutions service. Whether it’s modifying the shape, size, or materials of an item from our catalog or creating an entirely new and unique product, we design the solution that fits your needs.

And for our staff?

As a company committed to improve workplace health, we place great importance on ensuring the well-being of our own teams at their workstations.

This includes:

  • Implementing morning stretching and warm-up sessions before the workday begins, to prepare the body for physical activity and prevent discomfort or pain
  • Providing ergonomic workstations tailored to each individual, including ergonomic chairs, adjustable desks, ergonomic mice and keyboards, height-adjustable sewing tables, and custom table extensions for sewing machines
  • Structuring the workday to include a break every two hours to encourage movement and reduce sedentary time
